Deconstructivist Theory
Sometimes there's great stuff on TV.
There's a lot of cool stuff in it too.
(I do actually require my children to wash their hands, so I can't really account for the state of those fingernails.)
We weren't watching TV, per se, we were watching pixels.
Mama felt all proud, and all full of homeschooling mama wisdom, reading to them about the cathode ray tube, and how it translates information signals into the pictures that we see. She felt really proud, that is, until she read the part about how no one but highly trained professionals should handle the tube because it might implode and send fragments of toxic glass into the surrounding area. She looked over to see her son's eyes inches away from said weapon of mass destruction.
Back away boys. Back slowly away, while Mama calls in HAZMAT.
You know, if Lucy Ricardo was a homeschooler, she might be a lot like me.
